The summer finale of Switched at Birth is on its way with one of the worst situations that can take place when Daphne's future is at stake.

On Monday, Carter Matt posted some details on what's about to take place in th final episode of the season, which could involve Daphne going to jail. When she and Bay celebrate graduating from high school, it turns out to be a time of misery when Daphne could have no positive future coming her way.

As if that's not bad enough, some shocking news will be delivered about Carlton, which can also take over the day. Also, Bay will have her own plans for what she wants to do after high school that will not please her parents.

A preview of the next episode shows the girls at their graduation when Daphne tells Bay in her commencement uniform that she's ruined her whole life. Then it shows Regina telling her daughter that she has a record, which could lead to prison. Bay plans to fight this as will likely the rest of the family, but they may not win.

Disappointed faces go around along with falling tears as Kathryn says, "she's here to arrest you." Considering she also says this in sign language, it's doubtful she's talking to anyone besides Daphne.

If Daphne does end up in jail, that puts the series into jeopardy since this character is a big importance to the series.

Switched at Birth airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
