Teen Wolf's Benefactor didn't start to cause chaos until season 4, but the villain will have ties to season 1.

The man (or woman) behind Beacon Hills' supernatural hit list will be revealed during "Perishable," and so will a few secrets about the Hale house fire.

"[The Benefactor's identity] brings up big questions answered in the final three episodes-events that go back to the very first season of Teen Wolf, with secrets revealed about what happened after the Hale fire," teased series creator Jeff Davis, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Meanwhile, the Benefactor's list will get an extra name courtesy of Lydia (Holland Roden). The young banshee will find herself compelled to add the thoroughly human Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) to the compilation of potential victims. As she does so, Derek will learn that Lydia has marked him for death by using his name in cipher (see video below).
