After Oscar winning actor Robin Williams was killed on Monday, random celebrities spoke their thoughts along with people who were closer to him who mentioned the distance they felt with the actor.

Robin Williams' Wife Breaks Silence On Husband's Death

On Wednesday, The Los Angeles Times posted a story on the Mork & Mindy star who was apparently not having a strong connection with the people who cared about him.

"He started to disconnect," comedian Rick Overton, one of Williams' friends, said. "He wasn't returning calls as much. He would send texts and things like that, but they would get shorter and shorter."

Authorites have reportedly said that Williams died from asphyxia due to hanging.

The site also pointed out that Steven Pearl, another friend of the actor, saw Williams at a barbecue last month where he noticed that something didn't seem right.

"You could just tell something was off," Pearl said. "He seemed detached. It's hard to explain. He didn't seem like his usual self. My fiancee and I were like, 'Is he OK?' I didn't know it would get this dark."

Random celebrities took to Twitter to reveal their condolences, including Lance Bass. "Thoughts and Prayers for Robin Williams, family and friends. Major talent lost today. ;(," he wrote.

Bones star David Boreanaz wrote, "So sad to hear the news about Robin Williams. Just shocked. Pure #Genius. The laughs are tears and prayers to his Family. #RIP."

Some of Williams' most memorable films include Aladdin, Dead Poets Society and Hook. He won an Oscar in 1998 for Good Will Hunting.
