David Clarke Disappointed In Emily On 'Revenge'? Father's Return Raises New Problems

Relegated to flashbacks for the last three seasons, Clarke (James Tupper) was always portrayed as the warm and loving father. Now that so much time has past, it remains to be seen if Emily/Amanda (Emily VanCamp) and David can pick up where they left off all those years ago.

"I think the audience will be surprised by the dynamic between Emily and David as they get to know each other because there's a tentativeness there, there's information and there are questions they'll both have about the other one and so I think that there'll obviously be a warmth because there's a connection that is unbreakable that we've seen in the past, but the way that it's plays out in the present will be very different," said showrunner Sunil Nayar, according to TV Fanatic.
