Donnie Wahlberg appears ready to prove to the world just how much he loves fiancée Jenny McCarthy, as the singer and reality show star sisn't let a recent awards show loss dampen his spirits.

The New Kids on the Block singer and Wahlburgers star/producer brought his fiancée with him to the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony August 16, but his lack of taking home a statue for his work on his show didn't seem to bother him-as he only appeared to have eyes on McCarthy-and made sure everyone knew he believed he was taking home his real prize.

After losing to Deadliest Catch for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program, Wahlberg, 44, posted a snap to his Twitter page of himself and McCarthy in the middle of the street, holding hands, looking deep into one another's eyes, and appearing to rub their noses together.

"Sometimes when you lose you really win!" he captioned the shot.

McCarthy also shared the photo on her Instagram page, appearing to echo her fiance's sentiments.

The couple is reportedly planning a small wedding for sometime later this year, though they have been keeping several details private to avoid a huge media circus, saying instead that they'd prefer a much smaller and intimate affair.

To make their point, the two have even compared themselves to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who married in a lavish affair in Italy in May-saying they wouldn't do the same thing.

The two even told People Magazine that they were going to be much more low-key back in June.

"Don't be calling me Kanye West," Wahlberg joked about the rapper's wedding to Kardashian, which will reportedly be featured on an episode of her family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  "I like Kanye's music, but I don't know about his wedding style. That's a little too much."
