Fans Still Outraged Over Michael Muhney Incident

Michael Muhney, who played Adam from 2009 to 2013 and was reportedly fired from the series in December, sent some kind words to his replacement.

"I really like Justin Hartley. He's a good guy. We really get along well. I wish him the best. Be kind to him. #goodguy," Muhney tweeted.

Hartley responded: "A thank you to Michael Muhney for the well wishes. Very much appreciated. Thank you."

Muhney recently confirmed his permanent exit from the CBS show via social media. "Just got an official call, although things got very close, I will not be returning to Y&R. That part of my life is over. Moving on..." he wrote on Twitter last week. "I was hopeful for a return, but now I'm hopeful for the future. Now you'll just have to promise to tune in to my future projects! #lovexo."

The 39-year-old also bashed the allegation surrounding his controversial departure from the show after a fan asked about the rumor's accuracy. "It was only a salacious rumor," Muhney responded.
