Ed Sheeran ft. Pharrell Williams- "Sing"

Ed Sheeran was also nominated in 2013 for Best Male Video for the hit "Lego House." His other songs include "I See Fire," "Give Me Love" and "The A Team."

Eminem ft. Rihanna- "The Monster"

Eminem's other nominations at the MTV VMA's include Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Editing, Best Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects.

John Legend- "All of Me"

John Legend was nominated for MTV VMA's in 2005 for Best R&B Video, Best New Artist and Best Male Video all for the song "Ordinary People." His other hits include "You & I," "Made to Love" and "Who Do We Think We Are."

Pharrell Williams- "Happy"

Pharrell Williams is competing with himself in this category, also nominated with Ed Sheeran for the hit "Sing." He's also nominated for Video of the Year and Best Pop Video.

Sam Smith- "Stay With Me"


Sam Smith is also nominated for Artist To Watch at the VMA's this year. His other songs include "Money on My Mind," "Lay Me Down" and "Nirvana."
