The latest show to join the ranks of Emmy Award winning Reality Competition Series is none other than CBS' The Amazing Race--no stranger to the title, being the only show to have officially won the award ten times.

The competition series won the coveted Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Competition Series at the August 25, 2014 ceremony, beating out its competition, which included great programs such as FOX's So You Think You Can Dance, ABC's Dancing with the Stars, Bravo's Top Chef, Lifetime's Project Runway, NBC's The Voice

The Amazing Race, which is premiering its 25th season and race around the world on CBS this fall, holds the record for most wins in the category, winning the prize nine additional times since 2003. It has lost the award only twice since its premiere on the network.

So You Think You Can Dance has been nominated for the award three previous times, but has never won.

Dancing with the Stars will be premiering its 19th season on ABC this fall, winning for Outstanding Choreography for Derek Hough in 2013, and having nominations for the reality competition series eight times, though it has never won.

Top Chef has been nominated seven times for Best Reality Competition series, but was the first to unseat Amazing Race as the winner, taking the prize in 2010.

Project Runway has been nominated for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program nine times, but has never won. However, co-hosts Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn did win this year for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.

The Voice, which has been a rare reality success story for NBC, managed to become the second show to unseat Amazing Race as the winner of the prize, beating the program in 2013.

Congratulations on the tenth official win for The Amazing Race.
