Patrick (Jason Thompson) has been on a quest for answers since his son Gabriel died following the car accident that forced him off the road, and despite the tension that has existed between him and Silas (Michael Easton) since, the two will continue working together on General Hospital.

Sam and Patrick Grow Closer

After his nephew Rafe was revealed to be the one who drove Patrick off the road that night, and Patrick failed to save Rafe's life during brain surgery, the two were at odds, and Silas' relationship with Sam (Kelly Monaco) ended as a result. However, since Molly's (Haley Polous) revelation that Rafe had told her someone put him up to the accident before he died, Silas has been cooperating with Patrick even more to try and find out who is genuinely responsible for both of their losses.

Now, after he did some digging of his own, he will stun Patrick with a huge revelation.

Rescue Mission Turns Into A Massive Showdown?

"When Sam left, I found something else," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, September 3 episode.

Meanwhile, the rescue mission for Lulu (Emmee Rylan) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) appeared to go well after Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) managed to shoot Levi/Peter (Zachary Garred)-and the three were on their way out of the cabin to meet with Nathan (Ryan Paevy) and head home when a canister of tear gas was tossed into the building-causing the three, as well as the other officers in the cabin, to all pass out, before a team of properly suited men and their mysterious boss entered.

Now, Nathan, who is watching from the outside, is left to wonder who the mysterious man is-and how he will help change the case now that he can add Dante to the list of hostages.

"Who the hell is that?" Nathan wonders to himself in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
