The cast of CMT's Party Down South reportedly didn't have a low-key time while filming in Athens, Georgia.

Daddy Admits He And Lil' Bit Broke Up

According to Red and Black.com, the college town saw the cast and crew of the wildly popular series having multiple run-ins with Athens-Clarke County police, including the investigation into Ryan 'Daddy' Richards, after he was suspected of rape charges.

A woman accused him of raping her after they partied in downtown Athens in April, after she claimed she was given an open beer and woke up the next morning naked while being filmed by the show's production crews.

Daddy Not Bothered By Rape Allegations

A medical examination concluded there was an indication of sexual assault, but after police examined hours of video footage and interviewed the cast and crew, they cleared him of all charges.

A second arrest of comedic actor Ramsey Crawford Griffin Moore for a public disturbance in July was also tied to the show after Moore told police he was a cast member, though his name has not yet been associated with the show.

In addition to the legal troubles in Athens, the cast has had troubles in between seasons as well-Mattie Breaux was issued a warrant for her arrest in May after she missed a court date for an earlier DUI she received this year, while Lyle Boudreaux was arrested for breaking into a vehicle this past Spring.

Cast member Taylor Lil' Bit Wright also announced in August that she would not be returning to the show for a third season, citing safety and religious reasons.

Despite the troubles with their cast, CMT has officially given the cast a third season, which is set to air next year.
