Teen Wolf's Malia Hale is close to discovering her mother's true identity, but there is one major obstacle in her way.

Prepare For Tears & Plot Twists In 'Teen Wolf' Finale, 'Everybody's Life On The Line'

Peter Hale (Ian Bohen), being the conniving man that he is, has decided that Malia (Shelly Hennig) should kill Kate Argent (Jill Wagner) before he will disclose the identity of the Desert Wolf. While this sounds like a death sentence of the young werejaguar, Hennig believes it will be a very tempting offer for Malia.

"I think for Malia, it sounds like a pretty good trade off," Hennig explained on Wolf Watch. "She doesn't have anyone left. Her only blood is Peter, the guy that her whole pack can't stand. But can Malia handle a journey like that by herself yet? I think it will be tempting for her, for sure."

Luckily for Malia, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is also on the case. While Stiles definitely wouldn't be a fan of Peter's latest offer, the teen is set on figuring out the Desert Wolf's identity for his girlfriend.

The upcoming season finale, titled "Broken Spell," may address the issue further. Clocking in at 75 minutes, the last installment of season 4 will follow Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack back down to Mexico as they face threats from both Kate and Peter.

Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
