The couple's official honeymoon destination has also been revealed, thanks to E! News, which revealed that the couple was spending their first days of newlywed bliss at Glenmere Mansion, a luxurious property in the Hudson Valley just north of New York City.

Celebrities Remember Joan Rivers

Guests at the property reportedly told the website they have spotted the couple lounging by the pool and enjoying couple's treatments at the spa. The property features lush gardens, loads of privacy and plenty of peace and quiet, ensuring the couple is able to have a relaxing and enjoying time together.

However, despite their romantic nuptials and relaxing honeymoon, the couple has taken time from their busy schedules to honor the late Joan Rivers, who died at 81 September 4, and was actually a friend of McCarthy's.

The 41-year-old comedienne and Sirius XM radio show host posted a photo of herself with the legendary comedienne and fashion commentator on Instagram after hearing the news of her death.

"RIP to the funniest, most hardworking lady in the biz. You will be missed, Joan!" she captioned a shot of the two together.

McCarthy told Entertainment Weekly that her 20-year friendship with Rivers actually began after Rivers did what she was best known for in recent years-insulted McCarthy and criticized her for how she was dressed at an Academy Awards show.

McCarthy admitted that the embarrassing incident, where Rivers placed her on the list of one of the worst-dressed women that year, was one that often came up as a joke over the course of their friendship, before Rivers told it to her straight during her brief stint as a co-host on The View earlier this year.

"She said 'Honey, listen, if I'm choosing you as worst dressed, it means you're in the now. It means you kind of made it. So just shut up and deal with it," McCarthy said.

However, McCarthy admitted, Rivers was right about the decision to put her on the list at the time, as it turned out, she had been wearing her dress backwards without realizing it-until Valentino, who designed it, stopped her and told her what she had done.

"She was spot on. I wore a Valentino dress and I actually wore it backwards," McCarthy said. "I was wondering why it was so tight in the boobs. She called me out for wearing it badly. I didn't realize I was wearing it backwards till Valentino came up to me at the Vanity Fair party and said, 'darling, you're wearing my dress backwards.' I had the privilege of winning an award from her and have been friends with her since."

Rivers' private funeral service is scheduled for Sunday. It is unclear if the newlywed couple will be in attendance.
