With the last James Bond movie being a massive success, it was refreshing to hear news that star Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes will return for another go with the franchise. And it seems like the star is exciting for the refreshing new life that has been breathed into the lead character.

Craig spoke with Vulture recently about his recent work in Betrayal with wife Rachel Weisz and talked briefly about his experience with Skyfall and what could be expected with the next movie.

"He's really f---ing hurt himself jumping on top of a train (in Skyfall)," Craig said, "and he just wants to straighten himself up. That's what it's about: poise. To be more concerned about the way you look at the moment of crisis. The weirder the place it comes from the better it is."

The actor talked about what he and Mendes are hoping to do with the next movie and what fans can expect to see more of.

"Hopefully we'll reclaim some of the old irony," he says, "and make sure it doesn't become pastiche. I can't do shtick, I'm not very good at it. Unless it kind of suddenly makes sense. Does that make sense? I sometimes wish I hammed it up more, but I just can't do it very well, so I don't do it."

It seems like this next Bond movie will have a big focus on going back to the originals with a casting call already out looking for an iconic henchman, a set of original characters like Moneypenny and M being re-cast, and more international traveling for the secret agent.

Bond 24 is set to open in theaters on November 6, 2015.
