The Mentalist will head to the airport (again) in season 7, but this time there probably won't be any long-awaited proclamations of love.

'Don't Count On' More 'Mentalist' Episodes, Cancellation Coming?

The cast spent Monday filming at small airplane hanger (see photo above), and it looks like Patrick Jane's (Simon Baker) investigation will have an aviation theme during episode 4.

Originally titled "Pink Rocks," the upcoming episode has since been re-labeled. While the new title is currently a mystery, the fourth installment of season 7 is written by Mentalist newbie Tom Donaghy and directed by first time Mentalist helmer Michael Nankin.

Set to air in the wake of "Nothing But Blue Skies," "The Greybar Hotel," and "Orange Blossom Ice Cream," episode 4 will potentially see the fallout from Erika Flynn's (Morena Baccarin) return during episode 3.

"Jane teams up with Erika Flynn in Beirut, Lebanon, where he and Lisbon have gone at the request of the CIA to take down an international weapons dealer," Entertainment Weekly reported in regards to "Orange Blossom Ice Cream." "Erika has agreed to help Jane and the CIA in exchange for a pardon on the murder charges she's still facing and the chance to return to the U.S. But as always Erika has agendas of her own, one of which may, or may not, be inserting herself between Jane and Lisbon."
