The Mentalist's Simon Baker will jump into the director's chair once more during season 7, and his upcoming episode now has a title.

No Time Jump For Jisbon On 'The Mentalist', Where Will Couple Be In Premiere?

The Australian actor generally spends his days in front of the camera as faux-psychic Patrick Jane, but Baker has dabbled in directing before. After taking on an episode a year since season 3, Baker will helm episode 5 of season 7.

"It's been a busy summer & I'm editing the season premiere. We just met about Simon's ep705, Silver Briefcase. We're moving quick," said editor Jimmy Gadd of the short 13-episode season.

'The Mentalist' Car Chases & Gun Fights Promised For 'Greybar Hotel'

Coming in the wake of "Nothing But Blue Skies," "The Greybar Hotel," "Orange blossom Ice Cream," and "Pink Rocks," "The Silver Briefcase" will be penned by Jordan Harper ("The Greybar Hotel," "Violets").

Baker previously directed "Red Moon," "Blinking Red Light," "Red Sails in the Sunset," and "My Blue Heaven."
