The mysterious agent ended season 5 with a rarely seen girlfriend, but G (Chris O'Donnell) will strike up a relationship with a well-known character over the course of the next season. Fans won't get to find out the identity of Callen's new girlfriend until late in the season.

Described by series creator Shane Brennan as "more than a little romance," the storyline will feature "one of the characters the fans have come to love as well," according to TV Guide Magazine.

Unfortunately, Brennan would not divulge any further information.

Who could Callen's new love interest be? It's fairly safe to say the writer's wouldn't have Kensi (Daniela Ruah) switch romantic partners after all the work put into creating Densi, which only leaves Nell open for a potential workplace romance. Outside of the NCIS: LA team, the DEA's Talia Del Campo could also count as a possibility.
