On September 30, Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen on Arrow, teased fans with an 8-second clip from the season 3 premiere, which was due out in 8 days from the day of his posting the video on his Facebook page.

Oliver To Find Out About Thea In Season 3 Of Arrow

In the slightly blurry scene which seems to be captured off of a television screen, someone is seen running through a flea market and it looks like the chase sequence is set in Hong Kong. The person on the run looks like a younger Oliver Queen.

Previously it was revealed that season 3 will feature flashbacks of Oliver life in Hong Kong. It has also been hinted that he will be revealing bits about that part of his life to Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) on their first date together.

Two other actors joining the cast will be part of Hong Kong flashbacks in Oliver's life. Sin City's Devon Aoki has been cast in the recurring guest role as Tatsu Yamashiro, a Japanese martial arts expert. The name for Tatsu's superhero alter ego Katana is derived from her sleight of hand with the blade.

Real Steel's Karl Yune will be playing the part of Maseo Yamashiro, who used to assist Oliver in Hong Kong. Tatsu will be Maseo's wife in the series.

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW. Season 3 premieres on October 8 on The CW.
