Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are thrilled to be expecting their first child, but as excited as they are there is still an enormous amount of pressure.

Carrie Underwood Reveals Her 'Toughest Critic'

The country singer and her NHL husband have no trouble getting up in front of a crowd, but when it comes to some baby-related tasks they find themselves at a loss.

"We went to Babies R Us and we were walking around and I was, like, 'This is just so overwhelming!" declared 31-year-old Underwood in E! on Thursday.

"I just don't want to get the wrong things, you know," she continued, noting that there are a lot of products for newborns out there and she doesn't know what most of them are even for.

"I don't know what most of it does," she admitted. "There are, like, 5,000 things to choose from, and I'm like, 'Do we need that?! I don't know!"

While the singer admits to being nervous, she's been working through it and just hopes that she will be as good for her own child as her own mother has always been for her.

"I have a wonderful mother," she declared in an interview with Today on September 26, "So if I can be even a little bit like that, I think we'll be good."

Underwood announced the pregnancy on Twitter back in September, including a photo of her sitting with her dogs Ace and Penny as she shared the news.

At this time neither Underwood nor Fisher have opened up about potential baby names, though there will be plenty of time to chose one before the baby is due in 2015.
