Details Behind Phaedra Parks' Rumored Split With Apollo Nida

A rep for Parks, Steve Honig, confirmed to Dish Nation Monday that Parks will indeed be doing an interview with Ellen DeGeneres later this month and she will not hold back.

"I can confirm Phaedra will be doing an exclusive interview with Ellen DeGeneres on October 14 that will air on October 15. Phaedra is eager to set the record straight and have a candid, no-holds-barred conversation with Ellen."

Parks will have lots to talk about, from what led Nida to his current sentence in federal prison, to rumors that their marriage is over.

Until now Parks has remained silent concerning Nida's legal woes as well as the status of their relationship. She did release a statement just as he began his sentence last month.

"Phaedra is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests. This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family, and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone's lives."

Nida is slated to spend eight years behind bars. The couple has two boys, Ayden and Dylan together.
