A Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum is set to join the rough and tumble world of FX's Sons of Anarchy in one of the final episodes of the series.

Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase on both Buffy and Angel, is set to guest star in an episode of Sons of Anarchy this season, according to a new report by Entertainment Weekly.

Carpenter is slated to play a character named Carol, a "conservative administrative director at a medical facility." However, other details surrounding her character are reportedly being kept secret at this time. It has not been announced when exactly she'll be appearing, though EW says that it will be an episode "later this season."

With someone as recognizable to the TV audience as Carpenter, who also appeared in The Expendables film franchise, it is possible that her role could be much bigger than it looks on the surface.

Sons of Anarchy has lined up a bevy of guest stars to appear in the seventh and final season of the series this fall. Among the guest stars who have appeared or will appear at some point this season are Lea Michele (Glee), shock rocker Marilyn Manson, the polarizing Courtney Love, Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show) and Mathew St. Patrick (Six Feet Under).

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
