The plot description for one of the upcoming episodes of Fox's Gotham has been released, intriguingly titled Spirit of the Goat.

'Gotham' Casts 'Masters of Sex' Star As Harvey Dent

The Goat, a new potential villain, is slated to come to Gotham City in Episode 6 of Gotham. Fox released a plot synopsis for the episode, which will air Monday, Oct 27. The description is as follows:

When a killer begins targeting the first born of Gotham's elite, Bullock [Donal Logue] is forced to confront traumatic memories from a nearly identical case he worked in the past. Later, Gordon [Ben McKenzie] is confronted by past decisions."

Christopher Baker is set to guest star as The Goat/Raymond Earl, according to the press release. Other guest stars in the episode include Carol Kane as Gertrud, the mother of Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), Dan Hedaya as Detective Dix, Kim Director as Lacey White, Mackenzie Leigh as Liza and Susan Misner as Dr. Marks.

In other Gotham news, the series has been slipping a bit in the ratings since its Sept. 22 debut. The series debuted to 8.21 million viewers with an impressive 3.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic. For Episode 2, the viewership went down to 7.45 million and a 2.8 in the demo, which isn't too surprising given the fact that most new series lose viewership from Week 1 to Week 2.

Monday's third episode received 6.36 million viewers, which is a further slip, though they had a 2.5 demo rating, which is still impressive considering its up against The Big Bang Theory on CBS, The Voice on NBC and Dancing With the Stars on ABC. If the series slips even further, however, Fox may begin to worry. However, it is likely very safe for now considering it has been the most successful new Fox show by far.

Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
