It looks like Pym Technologies has found its new corporate office in Atlanta as filming for one of the upcoming Marvel movies is in full swing in the Peachtree City.
Comic Book Movie revealed on Friday a handful of set photos from the Atlanta production of Marvel's Ant-Man. The most revealing of the photos is the Pym Technologies sign that is hanging outside of a building.
Referred to as Pym Particles in the comics, the name for Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas) business was changed to most likely fit more than just the particles that the name referred to in the comics. It will also be the launching ground for Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) thievery as he is expected to help Pym with stealing information back from Darren Cross (Corey Stoll).
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, Ant-Man follows con-man Scott Lang who must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
The film is directed by Peyton Reed from a script by Adam McKay, Gabriel Ferrari, and Andrew Barrer. It also starsEvangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery, Gregg Turkington, and T.I.
Ant-Man is expected to hit theaters on July 17, 2015.
