Once Upon a Time fans met the Snow Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell) during Sunday night's episode, who may be joining the list of truly evil villains who have appeared on the show.

Jennifer Morrison Explains How Emma & Hook Are Both 'Pirates' In Their Own Ways

While the Snow Queen did make an impression, it is possible that Emma (Jennifer Morrison) might be the one to take her down. Mitchell spoke with Entertainment Weekly after the episode about Emma's powers and how her own character could possibly be the most evil villain in the show's history.

"Worried about Emma's powers? Well, sure, Emma is very powerful," Mitchell admitted. "But I think, at this point in time, we're dealing with a pretty powerful lady in the Snow Queen. She might have a little more up her sleeve than we think. However, I think Emma's raw power is possibly stronger than the Snow Queen's-possibly, we'll see. She's had a lot longer to figure it out."

Mitchell talked about how the Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla) has turned into one of the more redeemable characters on the series, though the Snow Queen might not have such a redemptive arc.

"For the first four episodes, I really did feel that she probably wasn't redeemable. So I'm very interested to hear what you think on that," she said. "I felt the same way with the Evil Queen, so I honestly think they can do pretty much anything. It may be the first time in history that we have a purely evil villain, but it also may not be."

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
