The Mentalist has announced the title of season 7's eighth episode.

Set to air midway through the CBS drama's final season, the upcoming installment is ominously titled "The Whites of His Eyes."

Penned by Erin Donovan, "The Whites of His Eyes" will start filming later this week.

The Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) series will come to an end after a 13-episode seventh season, which will pick up shortly after the events of season 6's "Blue Bird.

Jane and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) are now an item, and it looks like the pair will have smooth sailing until the premiere, which is titled "Nothing But Blue Skies." Agent Abbott's (Rockmond Dunbar) team will then continue on into "The Graybar Hotel," "Orange Blossom Ice Cream," an untitled episode 4 (formally referred to as "Pink Rocks), the Simon Baker-directed "The Silver Briefcase." "Green Light," and "Little Yellow House."
