Robert Downey Jr To Guest On 'Agents Of SHIELD'? Actor Want To Bring In Iron Man

It seems Robert Downey Jr. isn't the only Avenger itching to unleash his superhero on Marvel's flagship series - actor Jeremy Renner is also contemplating suiting up for the Tuesday night drama.

"Those are questions that are tough to really answer, because it's above my pay grade, haha," Renner said in a recent Reddit AMA. "It's not something I sit and think about. But I suppose if it was offered up, there's an outside chance it could happen. I haven't seen the show, so I don't know how it works, but I'm sure the folks at Marvel have ideas, and when they're strong enough, they'll bring 'em to me."

The possibility of Hawkeye's future involvement comes at an exciting time for fans. The archer's canonical wife, Mockingbird (Adrienne Palicki), will be introduced in episode 5, which is titled "A Hen in the Wolf House."

Palicki's Bobbi Morse has the potential to move into the Marvel Cinematic Universe's big screen adventures, and it will be interesting to see if writers start to play out the duo's romantic storyline.
