It seems as though Amal Alamuddin, now Amal Clooney, is slowly getting used to her new role as a celebrity. The human rights lawyer has opened up about her new Hollywood husband George Clooney while at a press conference in Athens, Greece on Wednesday.

Amal, who is being called the "new Kate Middleton" by the British press, spoke about the current issue of Greece trying to get back the Parthenon marbles from the British Museum. She said that even her Oscar-nominated husband has an opinion about the matter, too.

According to People Magazine on Wednesday, when a reporter asked about George's position on the marbles, she said, "I would just hope that, even at this very early stage in marriage, I am wise enough to know that it's up to my husband to choose which cause he wants to support or not."

Meanwhile, Amal has also been criticized for changing her last name from Alamuddin to Clooney after she got married to George in Venice last month.

The name change was first noticed on her law firm's website on the day that she headed back to work in Athens on Monday to discuss how Greece can get back the Parthenon marbles from the British Museum.

Many critics are saying that the name change is "anti-feminist" and "backwards and subservient" to tradition while others are saying that Amal is "giving the impression that her name isn't as valuable as his."

So far, Amal hasn't made any public comments about the name change to the media.
