In an interview dated October 20, Nicholas Hoult, who plays Nux in Mad Max: Fury Road, dished about the nature of the movie after having watched a rough cut.

Speaking to MTV News the actor revealed that the movie was "stunning."

"I've seen a rough cut," Hoult said. "I was just sitting there, going like, 'Whoa.' "

Hoult went on to talk about the minimalistic use of dialogue in the film comparing it to a "300-page comic book," which is its distinguishing characeristic. Previously, director George Miller had also stated that he relied more on the visual narrative.

"You have the odd word, but the dialogue, it's strange, the words they used," he said. "They didn't speak like I would speak, or like anybody would speak nowadays."

The young actor also spoke about working with Miller, and his genius.

"He's so smart," Hoult said of the writer-director. "The world he's created, it just looks stunning."

The actor also revealed a bit about his character, Nux, stating that he is essentially a young sick soldier who believes that he goes out into the world, dying gloriously in battle being witnessed then they will claim a space in a hallowed universe.

Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Tom Hardy in the titular role, Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, and Zoe Kravitz as Toast.

The first look at Mad Max: Fury Road, which stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, was revealed via Entertainment Weekly's July cover, the dark and gritty semblance of a ravaged place is effectively captured. 

The trailer for the movie was released at Comic-Con.

Mad Max: Fury Road will hit theaters on May 15 2015.
