While James Bond is unquestionably one of the most famous characters an actor from Britain can play, could another actor who made his name in an iconic role move to 007 next? It seems like he is interested in a role in the franchise.

What British Icon Completely Dissed James Bond?

Daniel Radcliffe talked about doing James Bond in a Reddit AMA on Monday and said that he doesn't envision himself as a good lead character, but could see himself playing a villain to face 007 at some point.

"The villain. 100%. I think it's generally more interesting, and honestly, more what I'm suited for, to be honest," he said. "I don't see myself necessarily - I mean, I know there was a lot of action in Potter and I liked those sequences, but I don't think of myself as a natural action star."

What We Know So Far About 'Bond 24'

While Radcliffe has yet to be in anything with any real action since his Harry Potter days, it would be a change of pace for the actor who has generally been a protagonist and good guy for his whole career. In his latest film, Horns, it seems like he could be going in a different direction though so maybe there is some bad in him.

Either way, it may be awhile down the road until Radcliffe is considered for a Bond villain role as the actor is still relatively young and probably wouldn't be suited for the current need for a villain in Bond 24. But the producers are probably happy to see a famous name interested in joining the franchise at some point in the future.

Bond 24 hits theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.
