Major Crimes meets Twilight! Star Billy Burke has booked an arc on TNT's hit show for the upcoming season.
According to TV Line on Monday, Burke will make an appearance on Major Crimes as the villain he once portrayed on The Closer. The website reported that the actor who played Charlie in the Twilight movies will appear as Phillip Stroh in a two-part episode this winter.
Burke last appeared as Stroh in the August 2012 series finale of The Closer, but his character has continued to be mentioned.
He will reportedly re-enter the fold during the last two episodes of Season 3 of Major Crimes, which are set to air January 12 and 19 on TNT. Major Crimes is set to come back on November 24 for the continuation of its third season after their summer finale.
Carter Matt reported that Stroh will be "representing himself as the legal battle over his fate becomes so much more intense."
Recently Pretty Little Liars star Torrey DeVitto, who plays Melissa on the show, was cast as Lt. Flynn's (Denison) daughter named Nicole TV Line reported. DeVitto will appear in the episode called "Acting Out" and it's set to air on December 8. She is described by the site as "professional, endearing" and wielding "a touch of Flynn's edge and sense of humor."
"I was told that when the character playing my daughter shows up that there might be more of Flynn going to Sharon as an ally to help with that and dealing with whatever it is, but I don't know what it is," Star Tony Denison (Flynn) told MajorCrimesTV about the relationship with Sharon (Mary McDonnell). "But whatever it is will probably just serve to draw us closer together."
