On Tuesday Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 fame got a little emotional about her latest accomplishment and the MTV star didn't care what people thought of it.

Early in the day on Tuesday Evans went to take her CPR test and announced on Twitter an hour later that she'd officially been certified.

The reality star has come a long way over the last two years, overcoming arrests, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, and domestic violence to get herself sober and back in school. Having given birth to her second child, Kaiser, back in June and currently in a relationship with the boy's father Nathan Griffith, Evans found herself getting rather emotional about the path she's on.

Evans has often referred to Griffith as her "best friend" and claims that their love will stand the test of time.

While they aren't engaged just yet, Evans and Griffith are living together with their young son and Griffith has spent time bonding with Evans' elder son Jace, who is five. For the time being Jace lives with Evans' mother Barbara, though she is looking to get her son back soon.
