They likely knew that if the truth about their passionate kisses got out that it would destroy their lives, but Ridge (Thortsen Kaye) and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) will pay for their affair in ways they never expected on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Caroline Realizes Ridge Used Her

Caroline has been desperately trying to save her marriage to Rick (Jacob Young) since the truth came out, but after finding him at his mother's she was in for a shock when she saw Maya (Karla Mosley) walk up behind him in just a bathrobe-and her shock will increase even more when Rick tells her off.

"Go back to New York or wherever the hell you want to go, but just leave," Rick says to her in a preview clip for the Thursday, October 30 episode.

Caroline Begs For Rick's Forgiveness

After she realizes that Rick took things one step further than she did however, by actually sleeping with Maya, Caroline will switch from hurt to anger, as she realizes that now Rick has done even more damage to their relationship than she did.

"I'm not just going to sit here and let you put all the blame on me, not after walking in on this," she says.

However, her attempts to talk things out won't go over well, and Rick will still walk away-leaving Maya to gloat that she has won Rick over, because now Caroline's true colors have been exposed.

"Rick finally saw you for what you really are," she says to Caroline.

And while Caroline appears to have suffered the consequences of her actions more, Ridge is beginning to realize the things he has lost as well. After confessing to Katie (Heather Tom), his engagement could be in jeopardy-but he may not only be losing something important to him in his personal life, as his father, Eric (John McCook) will inform him of his shocking new decision concerning the family business.

"I'm naming Rick CEO," Eric says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
