He suffered a huge betrayal from his wife and brother, but things could finally begin to turn around for Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ridge and Caroline Suffer The Consequences Of Their Affair

After learning that Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) had kissed a few times while designing the couture collection together, Rick found himself in bed with Maya (Karla Mosley) and told Caroline he no longer wanted to be with her. He was making plans to leave the country for a while and go on a trip with Maya when his father, Eric (John McCook) told him he had changed his mind about making Ridge the CEO of the company-and wanted him to take over the job.

And though Rick has been hesitant to take it because he feels like he only won the position by default, Maya could find a way to convince him that being CEO would be best for him-because he would be in charge and could get the perfect revenge on those who betrayed him.

Rick Considers Eric's Offer

"Make it happen Rick," she says to him in a preview clip for the Monday, Nov. 3 episode. "Sign the contract. Take control."

Rick could listen to Maya and decide to take the position despite his hesitations-though he could later come to regret it if he realizes Maya secretly wants him to have the position because it could also provide her with more power within the company.

While he struggles with his decision, Caroline will continue to defend her actions to Hope (Kim Matula), and will remain adamant that nothing serious ever developed there, despite what everyone believes.

"Ridge and I didn't fall in love. We just shared a couple of kisses," she says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
