Miranda Lambert is all ready for the CMA Awards this Wednesday, though that hasn't stopped the star from taking time out to celebrate a good cause.

On Saturday Lambert revealed on Instagram that her nails were all "ready" for the award this this week, sharing a photo of her nails painted with sparkly silver nail polish.

Miranda Lambert Expected To Win Big At CMA Awards
Some stars might worry about being extra careful with their nails, especially with four days to go before the show, but Lambert didn't hesitate in heading over to a Pedigree benefit on Monday designed to help shelter animals. Lambert even posed with a tiny puppy in a photo which she shared on Instagram. Her new sparkly nails are also visible in the image, in which she holds the pup close to her face with a smile.

While Lambert spent the weekend in Nashville, her husband and fellow country artist Blake Shelton will be meeting up with her on Wednesday for the CMA Awards, where Lambert will be performing with All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor.
The 48th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m.
