After sustaining a near concussion at the hands of the Strategic Scientific Reserves' Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell), the straight-laced butler is tasked with helping Carter in Stark's (Dominic Cooper) absence, but the original Jarvis (James D'Arcy) would rather be tucking in for his 9 p.m. bedtime.
Marvel is readying fans for the series January debut with a new clip (see video below). Stark appears to have suffered the lost of several high-profile inventions, and the genius must pair with Cap's former beau to track them down before they fall into the wrong hands. While Stark chases down leads in Europe, Carter will handle sales on the home front.
Carter's first task? Intercepting Stark's formula for the incredible explosive molecular nitroamine.
Considering Russian scientist Anton Vanko (Anton Vanko), father of Iron Man 2's Ivan Vanko is now part of the cast, IGN posits that perhaps the baddie will try to sell Stark's arc reactor as the eight-episode season progresses.
