Based on new episode descriptions released for FX's Sons of Anarchy, Gemma's (Katey Sagal) secret might finally be revealed as the series comes to an end.

Gemma's secret that she brutally murdered Tara (Maggie Siff) in the Season 6 finale has plagued the manipulative matriarch for much of Season 7. Keeping the information secret from her son Jax (Charlie Hunnam), it looks like the cat might be out of the bag in the weeks to come.

FX has released plot descriptions for Episodes 11 and 12 of Sons of Anarchy, titled Suits of Woe and Red Rose, respectively.

"The SOA organization bears down on SAMCRO," Episode 11's synopsis reads. "Jax comes face to face with an ugly truth."

While Jax is involved in many things that could result in an ugly truth, the ugliest certainly seems to be his own mother murdering his wife, in the grand scheme of things. This may come to a head in Episode 12, the penultimate episode of the series.

"With tensions mounting and truths finally revealed, Jax must make the ultimate decision," Episode 12's synopsis reads.

Could Jax be making a hit on Gemma as the series comes to a close? As previously noted, the motorcycle drama is loosely based on William Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet, and this would certainly be an epic ending fitting of many of the famous writer's tragedies.

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
