Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote in her blog this week about the various hateful comments she has received after giving Bethany Mota and Derek Hough a lower score on Monday.

'DWTS' Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy Admits To Feeling 'Battered' On Show, Talks Exiting

Inaba wrote in her blog for Parade about giving Mota and Hough a score of 9 out of 10 for both of their dances. While she was in line with her fellow judges for their Viennese Waltz, she gave them another 9 for their Trio Dance with Tony Dovolani while Len Goodman and Julianne Hough gave them a 10.

"OK, I'm getting a lot of hate about my score for Bethany and Derek," Inaba wrote. "I score it as I see folks. As I've said many times, I think she's incredible. She's one of the front-runners in my mind. She's got a drive that I believe will take her far on the road to the Mirrorball Trophy. She's determined and when she dances. She really digs into the dances and brings the world to life. Like a chameleon, she is dynamic and intriguing to watch."

She went on to explain how Mota needs to work on being able to drop her shoulders, which she described as a "small-but-critical change."

Inaba also did not see much intmacy between Mota and Dovolani and felt that some of the transitions were not as smooth as they could have been."

Despite her criticism, she admitted that she still thinks Mota and Hough could win the Mirrorball Trophy after proving to be a formidable force thus far.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
