At a special event called 'An Evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger,' the actor dished about his involvement in the third instalment of Conan.

The Terminator Fans reported from the event and got the scoop about the actor returning for Conan 3. At the event, Schwarzenegger revealed that he was currently reading the final script for the movie and also expressed excitement at being associated with the franchise, which was one of the first big action series he acted in and helped popularise him.

Schwarzenegger's breakthrough role in Conan the Barbarian (1982) propelled him to fame as action star. This was followed by a sequel in 1984, titled Conan the Destroyer. In 2012 the plan for a third in the series, titled The Legend of Conan was announced. In 2013, Deadline reported that the movie was in pre-production mode and Andrea Berloff would be penning the script for the movie.

The actor is on a roll reprising iconic characters in his career. Up next is Terminator: Genisys, in which he will be playing the iconic cyborg again.

Entertainment Weekly's cover story on Genisys last month, whetted fans appetite for the movie, prepping them for a whole bunch of inside information about the making of the movie and the plot twists. In the excerpts available online it is revealed that Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) will actually be quite different from the Sarah fans have known until now. She will not be a diffident waif, who is completely thrown by the Terminator tracking her and clueless about her destiny as John Connor's (Jason Clarke) mother and the war against Skynet. The new Sarah Connor will be aware of her detiny since she is 9 years of age and will be raised by an older T-800, played by Schwarzenegger.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
