Amid claims Shannon endangered her children by allowing them to spend time with convicted sex offender, Mark McDaniel, who she is said to be in a relationship with, a report by the DCFS has been released, deeming that Shannon did not put her children in any danger.

"Georgia’s DCFS has determined that Alana 'Honey Boo Boo,' Lauryn 'Pumpkin,' and Jessica 'Chubbs,' were not 'physically or emotionally harmed' by Shannon’s relationship with Mark McDaniel," The Inquisitr announced on Tuesday.

In March 2004, McDaniel was found guilty of molesting an 8-year-old girl, later revealed to be Shannon's oldest daughter, Anna, and given a 10-year-sentence, according to the site. Earlier this year, he was released, and a short time later, he and Shannon were photographed together.

On Monday, Shannon appeared on Dr. Phil, where she denied she was in a romantic relationship with McDaniel. "I'm not a perfect parent. I made a mistake," she said, via ABC News, after admitting to seeing McDaniel on two occasions. But "I want you to know that I'm not in a relationship with Mark McDaniel. I'm not in a relationship at all."

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shannon's daughter, Anna, spoke out about Shannon's relationship with McDaniel, claiming she felt totally betrayed by her mother. "I'm mad. I'm upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That's the main thing that I am -- I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around," she explained.

While The Inquisitr's report claimed Shannon was cleared of wrongdoing, it was also noted the investigation was ongoing.
