As Black Friday creeps closer, shoppers are left comparing the ads of their favorite stores to see where they will get the best deals this year.

Some shoppers will immediately focus their sights on electronics retailer like Best Buy, assuming the chain will be offering the best deals in technology. And while Best Buy does have some killer deals for then they open their doors at 5 p.m., those who are strictly looking for tablets will find great deals at a wide variety of other retailers.

Some of the best deals on tablets this year are actually at Best Buy's competitors. Target is offering four amazing deals on tablets this year, with Wal-Mart, Kmart and Office Depot/Office Max following right behind them with two deals each. However, Best Buy shouldn't be completely knocked out of the race either, because they are also offering slashed prices.

 Whether they're just offering the devices for a cheaper price or providing extra incentives alongside it, the following deals are some of the best this Black Friday:

On iPad Models:


1. iPad Mini 16 GB with Wi-Fi: Wal-Mart and Target are both offering fantastic deals on the original Mini. Wal-Mart is selling it for $169.00 and giving customers a free $40 Wal-Mart gift card with purchase. Target has tacked on a selling price of $249.00, with a free $80 Target gift card with purchase. With the gift card deals added on, customers are in a way getting it for $169.00

2. iPad Mini 2 16 GB with Wi-Fi: Target will be selling the second generation model for $299-but is offering a free $100 gift card with purchase, making the total more like $199.00

3. iPad Mini 3 16 GB with Wi-Fi: Again, Target is killing its competitors with the deal for the Mini. It's $399.00 selling price is off-set with another $100 free Target gift card offer, again making the total like $299.00

4. iPad Air 16 GB w/ Wi-Fi: Wal-Mart manages to beat Target's iPad deals on the original Air, by offering it for $397.00 with a free $100 gift card, making it $297.00

5. iPad Air 2 16 GB w/ Wi-Fi: Target once again claims the top spot when it comes to iPad deals by offering the newest Air model for $499.00 with a free $140 gift card-which is like getting the newest model for $359.00.

On Microsoft Surface:


Best Buy does have the best offerings on Microsoft Surface Tablets for Black Friday. The Surface 2 32GB model in magnesium is going for $299.99 (a savings of $150), and the Surface Pro 3 will be offered for $100-$150 less than its normal asking price as well.

On Samsung Galaxy Tabs:


1. The Galaxy Tab 4 comes in a wide variety of sizes, and two of them will be on sale Black Friday. Both Radio Shack and Kmart are offering the 7" model for $149.99, while Office Depot/Office Max is offering the best deal on the 10.1" model, selling it for $249.9 and offering a free $25 Google Play card with purchase.

2. Staples also has a phenomenal deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Lite, offering it for $99.99

On Kindle Fire:


1. The Kindle Fire HD 6" Model will be $79.99 at Kmart, Best Buy & Office Depot/Office Max
