Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious series, captioned the image, posted on his Facebook page on November 30, with a heart rending image about missing Walker, whom he affectionately referred to as Pablo:

"He was a part of so much in my life... long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel... he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo... after all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilicle cord.

He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood... that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life..."

A year ago today... a year of mourning... and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo...

Walker died on Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. He was the passenger in a car being driven by his friend, race car driver Roger Rodas, who also died in the accident. The speeding car hit a tree and instantly burst into flames, causing both the actor and Rodas to die on the spot.

Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Vin Diesel, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 2015.
