The first official clip teasing the trailer release of Terminator: Genisys, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, was recently revealed.

Trailer For Terminator: Genisys Leaked Online Revealing Dramatic Plot Twist?

The clip showcases the fluidity of the T-800 in the movie, as Schwarzenegger is seen mounting the bonnet of a speeding car, he is seen charging into space. There is an aerial view of the globe with explosions being highlighted in parts, and the final shot shows an older Schwarzenegger, considering his skeletal hand.

The trailer will be released on December 4.

Terminator: Genisys Is A "Reset" That "Shifts The Course Of Everything"

The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as the iconic mean machine. Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke will be portraying the part of John Connor, and Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will "arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017."

While it had been suggested that the film will be a reboot, that is not exactly true. It has been reported that Terminator: Genisys will rewind to the first two films in the series and will move back and forth in the plot with the help of time travel scenes.

The first official look at the movie was revealed in Entertainment Weekly in October. In the excerpts available online it is revealed that Sarah Connor (Emilie Clarke) will actually be quite different from the Sarah fans have known until now. She will not be a diffident waif, who is completely thrown by the Terminator tracking her and clueless about her destiny as John Connor's (Jason Clarke) mother and the war against Skynet. The new Sarah Connor will be aware of her detiny since she is 9 years of age and will be raised by an older T-800, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
