Split rumors continue to swirl for Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian and her husband Flashing Lights rapper Kanye West as new reports claim she has taken the next step in ending their marriage.

While Kardashian and West just tied the knot back in May of this year, speculation already claims that the celebrity couple is headed for divorce court.

An insider even told In Touch Weekly Thursday that she has met with a divorce lawyer and is looking to file the papers soon.

Apparently the rapper's overbearing and controlling habits is what has caused Kardashian to want to split. According to the source, he did not help matters when he went to Paris for Thanksgiving. Kardashian and their daughter North West stayed in Los Angeles.

"Kim was furious he dumped her and North for the holiday and mortified that she had to show up at Khloe's [house] alone. It was the last straw for her. She's getting ready to file divorce papers. They shut down an elevator for her to go up to the lawyer's office. Kim was very secretive about it."

They added that if Kardashian does proceed with the papers, it will only be followed by an ugly custody battle as Kanye reportedly wants to relocate with North to France.

Amid all of the rumors, Kardashian's rep has already shut down rumors of a split. On top of that, she also dubbed Kanye her Man Crush Monday and told him to "hurry home" via Instagram.
