Santa will pop up in "The Last Christmas," and Clara will quickly wander into his path.

"When she meets him she can't quite believe he's there, because bumping into Santa Claus on your roof is quite a weird way to wake up," said actress Jenna Coleman, according to the BBC (via Doctor Who TV). "Deep down she has always wanted to see him, and so when he materializes it's really a nice thing."

Unfortunately for Clara, the Doctor won't believe a midnight visit from the holiday icon is a particularly good idea.

"Santa appears on the roof of Clara's house and only the Doctor knows the danger of it," Capaldi teased, according to the BBC.

The Doctor and Father Christmas go way back, apparently, and Twelve's Time Lord senses will start to tingle as soon as the yuletide cheer starts to spread. There's trouble at the North Pole - trouble of the alien variety - and the Doctor and Clara will need to sort it out. It looks like the duo have a perfect reason to move past Danny Pink's death and jump back into the TARDIS.
