He shared, "The experience overall has been really, really, really positive." He further stated, "It's been unexpectedly pleasant."

He also revealed he has a better understanding about the kind of artist he wants to be. He said, "I think I've shed some of the ideas that I had of myself of what I wanted to be. I never really imagined myself working a stage and this show opened up some doors in my head and made me question that."

He concluded, "A lot of good questioning came out of this."

He also talked about his coach, Gwen Stefani, saying, "Gwen is a rare individual. She's somebody who has achieved so much. She's a public figure, but she's so normal."

He continued to praise her calling her "down to earth," "graceful" and "just normal."
