Lil' Wayne is no longer happy at Cash Money Records and whenever he gets the chance, he voices that somewhat shocking opinion. The same label and mentor who brought him into the game as a rapper at the tender age of 9-years-old, seems to be the reason why his new album, "Tha Carter V" is being "held hostage." Wayne would like to leave the parent company behind to focus on his branch of Young Money Records, only. However, sources say that Baby is not having it.

Did Wayne Just Confirm That He Left Cash Money on Twitter?

According to a rampage of tweets posted to the rapper's twitter on Dec. 4, he "wants off of this label and nothing to do with these people." TMZ reported that without a day in court, people close to their camp say that Wayne will not be let out of his contract because of its' legal binding. Plus, they report that Baby is "deeply offended by Weezy's public rants."

Also, TMZ's sources also said that the main reason why Wayne's album is not out yet has nothing to do with creative control, but more with "administrative" incomplete tasks. So, it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to hear their favorite rapper's music.
