On Dec. 4, Lil' Wayne went on a revealing Twitter rant last week to update his fans about the release of "Tha Carter V." Basically, he exposed the troubles happening behind the scenes between himself, the label Cash Money Records and his longtime public mentor, Bryan "Birdman" or "Baby" Williams.

"To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won't and hasn't been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it," Wayne explained. "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."

The day after, his manager Cortez Bryant talked to TMZ. He assured them that everything was "fine," with his artist and that Wayne would "be Cash Money forever." However, after Wayne confirmed that he would be leaving the label on stage in Los Angeles, he told TMZ that he was "being sarcastic."

During his performance at Vice's 20th anniversary party-- which had attendees like Jonah Hill, Scarlet Johannson and performance by Ghostface Killah and more-Wayne updated fans about his current label situation in between songs.

"This is a f-ked up situation but I will be out of it soon... I do it for y'all!" Wayne said.

There still has been no word from Baby or any statements from Cash Money Records regarding Wayne's claims. In public, his label mate Tyga, who also has troubles of his own, backed him publicly referring to him as a "Legend" on Twitter.
