The various cast members of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black has a very special holiday tribute for its fans.
On Thursday, the Netflix YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "Orange Is the New Black - Holidays At Litchfield," which features the show's cast singing their rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas.
Taylor Schilling (who plays Piper) introduces the song by singing "One my first day at Litchfield by bunkmate gave to me..."
Their song features numerous callbacks to the show, from more minor ones like Laura Prepon (who plays Alex) singing "11 Pipers piping" and Lea DeLaria (Big Boo) singing "Nine ladies dancing" to the more outrageous, like Laverne Cox (Sophia) singing "10 b-es cutting" and Natasha Lyonne (Nicky) singing "six inmates laying."
The grand finale features Kate Mulgrew (Red) deadpanning "A chicken in the yard," an obvious callback to The Chickening episode in season 1.
Observant viewers will also notice during the "Holidays at Litchfield" title card that the snowman has a screwdriver for a nose, which recalls the screwdriver that Piper (Taylor Schilling) was caught accidentally smuggling.
This video shows off the many hilarious characters featured in the show and helps to tide fans over as the eagerly anticipate the release of season 3.
Orange Is the New Black is expected to premiere season 3 in mid-2015 on Netflix, though the streaming site has not yet announced a specific air date. The first two seasons are currently available for streaming.
