Neal (Matt Bomer) pulled a Tom Sawyer during "Au Revoir," but the con didn't choose to crash his own funeral. Instead, Caffrey headed to Paris, alone. Like any devoted friend would, the CI left behind clues to tell Peter (Tim DeKay) and Moz (Willie Garson) what really happened.

Taking the cue, Mozzie than followed his pal into the Paris sunset.

"Obviously, there's a playing card inside [the shipping container] there to indicate that Mozzie had been there before," said series creator Jeff Eastin, according to TV Line. "So Mozzie will also continue on with Neal. And that, really, Neal's finally free."

It seems all is forgiven between the two. The final episode had the pair on rocky ground, Mozzie still upset that Neal refused to tell him what was going on with the shipping container. Eastin promised the feud would resolve itself in "Au Revoir," apparently fans just had to first go through the pain of seeing Mozzie broken by Neal's alleged death.
