Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. might be competing on Dancing With the Stars this spring if he accepts their offer. His daughter Kick revealed the news of an offer on Instagram, that he text messaged to her, according to a new report by the New York Daily News.

"I just got solicited to do a show called dancing with the stars," the message reads. "They will pay me $150,000 to commit and additional $350,000 if I make it into the semifinals in a televised dance contest. I know that some of you have seen me dance and I thought it advisable to consult you as I consider this offer."

Representatives for Kennedy have not yet responded to the report.

This would be the first time that a Kennedy appeared on a reality show, assume he were to take the offer.

Dancing With the Stars is heading into its 20th season this spring and they are hoping to make it a significant one due to it being the 10-year anniversary of the show, which premiered in 2005. Landing a Kennedy would be a huge get for the franchise and potentially bring some new viewers to the program.

The 60-year-old got married to actress Cheryl Hines this year. He has six children with previous wives.

Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season in March on ABC, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
