Despite being parents to a three-month-old daughter, it appears Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have split for good.

Ryan Gosling Working Hard To Ensure Good Future For Daughter?

According to the newest reports, the couple of three years is on the verge of calling it quits after spending too much time apart while the actor has filmed his newest movie, The Nice Guys, in Atlanta-and living virtually separate lives on opposite coasts may have officially been the last straw for the couple's on/off relationship-especially when their newborn daughter, Esmeralda Amada is thrown into the mix.

"It's more than just run-of-the-mill stress that comes with having a newborn. They're barely talking," sources said. "Eva has pushed him away."

Part of the actress pushing her boyfriend away has included her reportedly refusing to fly out to Georgia so Gosling could see his daughter-an added stress to the couple's romance as the actor reportedly has begun to worry that his girlfriend's lack of interest in going out in public is turning her into a recluse-and he's fed up and has had enough.

"...instead of coming home every night to them, he's jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter," sources said before adding, "The last time Ryan was in LA he told her that she and Esmeralda needed to get outside for some fresh air, but she just wouldn't listen."

However, the actor's decision to reportedly leave the relationship could soon backfire on him, as a break-up may get ugly because the actress may intend to fight for custody of their child, since she has been the primary caretaker while he's been working.

"Eva has been the primary, hands-on parent with Ryan away working so much, so she believes full custody is warranted," the source said.
